1.- PRESENTATION
|
The University of Alcalá, through their management company Crusa, offers the San Ildefonso Residence situated in the Central courtyard of the Cisneriana building, called the Philosopher´s Courtyard.
Situated in the historical-artistic centre of Alcalá de Henares, the San Ildefonso Residence offers hotel accommodation and residences for conferences, courses, tribunals, visiting professors, etc.
Two-floored building with 41 rooms which have fully-equipped bathroom, television, heating, satellite dish and fax service. Each of them named after a different town or country.
The first floor has a living room equiped with television and a free service of coffe and tea. |

2.-SERVICES
|
The Philosopher´s Courtyard has a cafeteria-restaurant, situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the building, the San Ildefonso Gardens.
Apart from offering the usual accommodation services, the residence includes a 24-hour porter service throughout the year.
Likewise, it offers a daily cleaning service except on national holidays and weekends (unless specially arranged).

4.- MAPS & DIRECTIONS
|
The city of Alcala de Henares is well comunicated: 30 kilometers separate it from Madrid trough the N-II freeway (Madrid-Zaragoza-Barcelona) and it is only 15 kilometers from Madrid-Barajas Airport
By bus, the company Continental Auto runs buses that connect Alcalá to Avenida de América bus station (Subway: Cartagena & Avenida de América) and to the airport.
By train, from the stations Alcalá-Universidad or Alcalá de Henares to downtown Madrid (Atocha, Recoletos, Nuevos Ministerios and Chamartín) .
