There will be a fee
for those who exceed the 40 euros per month in water and electricity.
Phone calls are charged independently.
Deposit: 550 euros

The prices include
the same services as the whole year stays.
-Look for special
discounts in case you pay in advance or there are more than one person
of the family in the residence (valid only for stays of one whole
year).
-The fee for the
cleaning and rubbish disposal is 40 euros which are charged with the
first payment at the beginning of the stay.
- Written notice must be
given at least 15 days before the end of each period of any change
to the conditions agreed upon regarding services and form of
payment, to the Residential University Campus offices.
- The possibility of
choosing quarterly or anual payments excludes the right to a
refund of the amount paid.
Important: The company providing the
Cafeteria-Restaurant service is completely and solely responsible for
this service.

3.-
RESERVATION
PAYMENT
The reservation fee
is 250 €, which are deducted from the deposit when signing the
agreement. The application form must be accompanied by a copy of the payment
of the reservation fee in the following bank account:

Places are limited.
The act of sending the application and proof of reservation alone does
not guarantee a place. Please confirm your reservation by telephoning
the residences.
As a general rule,
if a reservation is cancelled, the amount deposited will not he
refunded.
Payment by credit
card is also avaible, online or by calling our offices:

not accepted. We require the 16 digits and expiration date, by
providing them you will authorizate us to charge 250 € as a
reservation.
4.- OUR RATES DO NOT INCLUDE
- Transport
expenses.
- Personal laundry that
exceed the three services included.
- Telephone.
- Repairs to faults or
deterioration caused by misuse of the facilities.
- The excess of the
average monthly consumption expenses which shall be charged
proportionally, to each of the residents in the accommodation in
question.
5.-
WAITING
LIST
There is waiting
list for those applications which, having fulfilled the necessary
requirements, were not granted acomodation.
This list shall be
held until the 17th of October of the academic year for which the
application was made. If for reasons not concerning the applicant,
Ciudad Residencial Universitaria s.a. were not able to grant a place
for that period, the amount paid for the reservation would be returned.
In the event that a place is granted and is rejected by the interested
party, the aforementioned amount willl not be refunded.
6.-
HOUSING
GENERAL CONDITIONS
The
accommodation period for the year 2011/2012 begins on the 10th of
September. For students enrolled in official degrees and the Erasmus
and Sócrates programs, the application for a place in the University
Residences implies that the applicant accepts this date as being the
starting date of the rental period. The rent corresponding to the
agreed period is determined in the conditions of prices agreed in the
individual contract, payable between the lst and 5th day of each agreed
period. The minimum stay shall be one month, with the exception of the
academic year in which shall have priority longer stays.
For
rental purposes, use of accommodation in the University Residences on
any day of the first fortnight, shall be considered as a complete
month. In the second fortnight, the aforementioned shall be considered
as half of one natural month. In further periods, any stay of less than
a fortnight, shall be billed as a complete fortnight and any stay of
more than a fortnight but less than one month shall be considered as a
complete natural month.
Longer
staysl have priority over shorter stays.
This
clause shall be applied under all circumstances, including late arrival
due to a delay in a visa being granted or any type of administrative,
legal or other authorisation.
Ciudad
Residencial Universitaria s.a., shall not be held responsible for any
personal articles or possessions deposited in the University Residences
or in the complex.
7.-
RENT
CONTRACT SUSPENSION
In the event that, due
to a justified reason, the resident has to leave the residence before
the end of three-month period or course which has already been paid,
and provided the remaining time is equal to or more than 1 month,
he/she may request that the Management of the Residences cancel his/her
agreement, until he/she returns within the same academic year for the
remaining period, waiving the right to return to the same accommodation
which he/she previously occupied or transfer the place to different
name. The request to re-enter must be made in writing and at least one
month before the date of re-entry.
8-
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES
The
period of occupation of the rooms shall, as a general rule, be from 4pm
on the arrival day and they must be vacated before 10am on the day
following the date of the end of the agreement.
9.-
CHANGES
Under exceptional
circumstances, the company may provide temporary accommodation within
the Residential Campus, until the definitive place is granted.
Likewise, the company reserves the right to reorganise residents, which
could mean changing accommodation.
10.-
LIMITATIONS
It is expressly
prohibited to:
- Subcontract or transfer
to third parties, in any capacity, the use of the place granted in
the University Residences.
- Accommodate persons in
the residential unit who have not been admitted as residents by
CRUSA, in accordance with the regulations of the Residential
Campus.
- Carry out work or
repairs on the residential unit without express authorisation of
CRUSA, such as changing the composition of the furniture,
installations and goods contained in tke same whick would change
the function of the different rooms of the housing unit, or tke
installation of washing machines and ovens, etc. and the
connection of heaters or stoves.
- Carry out any type of
professional, commercial or industrial activity in the unit or any
activity other than that of using the residence for accommodation
purposes in the strictest sense.
- Carry out any type of
act that violates infringes the norms of co-habitation.
- Enter the complex with
harmful or dangerous materials or substances, or whose use,
possession or consumption is against the law.
- Keep any type of animal
in the residential unit.
- Manipulate the meters
that control energy consumption or use others which alter such
consumption.
- Deposit rubbish in any
place other than that provided for such purposes
Any repeated
violation by the resident of any of these restrictions will empower
Ciudad Residencial Universitaria S.A. with the right to terminate the
agreement under the legal terms established by the Civil Code.
11.-
SAFETY DEPOSIT
The
required deposit is 550 €. per person. Ending the stay before the
contract expires date will mean a loos of the entire safety deposit.
12.-
SAFETY DEPOSIT REIMBURSEMENT
The deposit will be
refunded after verifying that the contractual obligations have been
correctly complied with. In any event, the refund shall be carried out
within a minimum period of 1 month after vacating the residence, by
bank transfer or by check. Departure dates on June will be refunded
after summer time.
13.-
FORM PAYMENT
The general form of
payment is by direct debit, therefore the new resident should provide
his/her bank details. Foreign students may pay using a
Visa,Mastercard-credit card or by monthly deposits to the Ciudad
Residencial Universitaria Sociedad Anónima bank account.
